My name is Jeff Gilligan, and I am a PEZHead.  No, wait!  That would mean that I have a problem.  I don't have a problem, I just love PEZ!!!

I have loved PEZ all my life. Every Christmas, there was always a PEZ in our stockings. My parents bought them for me all the time. And like most kids in the late 60's and early 70's, I destroyed them soon after the candy was gone. I was always curious about how things worked, so many were destroyed satisfying my curiosity. If only I had known the value these things would have some day.

I started seriously collecting PEZ around 1994. I was trying to keep the Christmas tradition of a PEZ in the stocking alive with my wife. As I was out shopping and saw all of the different PEZ available, I had the brilliant (or boneheaded) idea to get her one of each that I found. I believe I ended up getting her around 20 or 30 dispensers!!! She was just a little surprised.

I then decided to get out on the web and see what I could find. WOW! I couldn't believe all the information out there! I was soon out hunting for PEZ every day for hours on end, looking for all of the dispensers available. It took a while, but I eventually got all of the dispensers available in the US. With that accomplished, the next thing was to look for foreign and older PEZ.

This new search led me to find PEZ-A-MANIA. I couldn't believe it, a convention for PEZ?!? The first year I attended, I came only for the public portion (and came late on top of that). We had about 45 minutes to run around to all of the dealers and just drool over everything available. I never knew so many PEZ could be gathered in one room! That was all it took, I vowed to come back the next year as a registrant and get the full impact of this incredible experience. If you collect PEZ and you haven't gone to PEZ-A-MANIA yet, GO!

As I share my love of PEZ with non-PEZHEADS, I get all kinds of reactions.  Most people think I'm crazy, but I'm having fun.  Even the ones that think I'm crazy stop by to eat my PEZ!!!!  I keep working on them.
