Joey's Collection

Well, I knew it would happen.  My 7-year old son started a PEZ collection when he was about 4 years old.

We have been buying him PEZ since he was about 2, but he just ate the candy and the dispensers found their way into his toy box.  Eventually he noticed how I had my dispensers displayed, and wanted to put his on the shelves with mine.  I explained that I might mistakenly think they were mine, and told him we would find a way for him to show his.  At this point, I knew he was a full fledged PEZHead!!!

I recently went through some of my bagged and carded dispensers and found some duplicates. I decided to give them to Joey. He just about flipped out! I think there were 12 dispensers I gave him, and he opened them all up and lined them up on the bannister. My wife just looked at me and said 'He's yours!'

I ended up giving him one of the shelves in my display for his dispensers.  Before too long, his collection didn't fit there any more, so they went into a box.  He wants to display them in his room now, so I'll have to work on a solution for this.
